Our Approach
Studies show that children who attend lessons that are enriched with elements from different pedagogical methods and approaches while differ from the traditional teacher-centered approach, acquire better pre-writing skills, enhance vocabulary, participate more in the classroom and are more cooperative and communicative.
Since pre-school education is becoming more and more academic, programs that are enriched with a variety of activities as well as freedom of expression, are an entertaining path leading to a child’s success. Mini College’s bilingual enriched curriculum provides learning opportunities for our mini-students to develop a strong sense of self, explore the world in a caring environment, have fun with other children, and build the confidence they need in order to have a course filled with progress.
Through the project method, symbolic play, teamwork, experience, and observation of the world around them, our mini students are able to discover learning on their own, they are free to explore with all their senses, observe the elements of nature, the natural and the artificial materials, create fantastic representations, stories and images with them, but also true and unique works, which will mirror their special emotional and fascinating world. They are able to experience all these stories which will be inspired by the students themselves; become pirates and craftsmen; travel to the moon and get to know the planets; go back in time and talk to dinosaurs.
Our goal is to make children feel Mini College as their second home and come gladly every single day because they will see their friends and play all these games that excite their imagination and creativity.
Our duty, as educators, is to always be by the side of our students, listen to them and their needs, even if they are not yet able to express them in clear words, be their companions and partners in this beautiful daily exciting journey that takes place at Mini College.
